Passkey New Home Page

The New Home Page can be accessed from the traditional Home Screen by selecting Try New Home Page.

It provides a summary of your events, including:

Introduction

The home page displays the active account in the upper left, along with your hotel or organization logo.  The page is divided into three main areas:

IMPORTANT: Data on this page is updated on a daily basis by 4 a.m. Eastern Time (ET).  Please take this into account when comparing with other real-time Passkey data or reports.

Sister Property Organizations

Organizations with sister properties can also select the arrow by their organization name to further search or directly select any of their sister property hotels.

Doing this allows you to emulate the hotels' view of their data, so you will see the data as described in the Hotel entry of the table above.

This convenience avoids the need for separate hotel logins.

Events Panel

Describes the number of events created within the selected Date Range.

A comparison to previous time periods also displays, as discussed in Comparison Figures below.

The Reservation Method chart displays the percentage breakdown of the various ways new reservations were made for the Date Range and Event Category filters you have applied.

All reservations are included here, and this chart tracks only the initial reservation method (not subsequent modifications of reservations, if any).

Viewing and Filtering the Event List

NOTE: Hotels will not see events that have been created by Organizations using the Hide from Hotel(s) setting. Hotels should contact the organization responsible for the event for all event-related information.

Upon logging into Passkey, the home screen displays a list of recently viewed events.

Columns can be sorted if they display a double arrow next to the name.  The event data shown is described below:

NOTE: Data that is related to reservations, such as pickup, web %, and other revenue figures are not real-time, and may lag by several hours.

Searching for Events

A simple or more advanced search can be performed.

  1. Quick Search

  1. Select the Event Name

  2. Optionally, enter the full or partial name of an event in the search text field on top of the event list

  3. Optionally, choose the status of events you want to see (this defaults to Recently Viewed, but you can select Open Events, My Events, etc.)

  4. Select the search icon or type Enter

A list of events that match your search filters will appear below.  To view the full details of any event, select the Event Name.

TIP: You can also search for events by Event ID or GroupLink Code if you know these values

TIP: If the event you’re searching for is not displayed, check the filter. For example, your filter may be set to Recently Viewed, but the event you’re searching for is not a recently viewed event, so you would need to set the filter to All Events.

  1. Advanced Search

Click the Advanced Options arrow to the right of the search text field, then enter as much or as little information you need to find an event(s), then click the Apply Filters button. The events shown need to match all of the criteria. To hide advanced search, click on Advanced Options arrow again.

TIP: Select the Clear Filters button to quickly reset all of your filters to defaults.

Creating Events

Select the Create a new event button to create events, depending on your permissions.  The selections you can make in the window that appears are discussed in Creating an Event.

Alerts

The Alerts section in the bell icon at the top of the page displays specific notifications about your events. A red dot appears if there are any alerts present.

The types of alerts include:

IMPORTANT: Clicking the Room List or Wait List alerts allow you to select an event directly to explore.  Other alerts are currently informational, but a link in the alerts list allows you to go to the old home page to take action on these alerts.

If you have feedback on this new home page, we would like to hear from you.
