To create an event:
Go to the Passkey Home Screen, which is accessible by clicking the Home tab.
Click the Create New Event button.
In the CREATE A NEW EVENT pop up window, enter a name for the event.
Enter the Contract Inventory Dates. Enter start and end dates manually or use the calendar icon.
Select the Event Type, which can be Associate, Corporate, Social, etc.
Optionally, select the Event Sub-Type.
Under Reservation Methods, check one or both of the booking methods that apply to this group.
For hotel users, enter the corresponding system group code In the GroupLink Settings field to link reservations from Passkey to your hotel system. This field is optional, and can be added later.
Determine how to create this event:
Select the Create with a Bundle option to select an existing bundle. Once you select a bundle, you are presented with a list of room types attached to the bundle. Fill in the contracted or appropriate rate for each room type.
TIP: When creating an event with a bundle, any default attendee types, room types, and their settings are pulled in automatically.
Select the Create without a Bundle option to enter your own settings and group campaigns.
Select the Copy from an Existing Event option to select an existing event to use as a template for this event.
Click the Create Event button.
You are taken to Create Event wizard. Follow the steps in the wizard.
If you selected Room Lists as a reservation method then you are taken to the Room List Manager page after completing the wizard. You can manage your room lists at this time or close the page and manage the room lists later.
If you did not select Room Lists, you are taken to the Event Home page after completing the wizard.
