Create Event Wizard (Bundle): Website

Use this page to personalize the booking website for the event being created, including customizing the website with different themes, colors, fonts, messages, etc., providing a social network for the event, and promoting other services and options in the booking website.

TIP:  The event website can be customized while creating the event, or after it is created.

Customizing the Event Booking Website

This section provides a set of tools to customize the event booking website for that event’s particular needs, including themes, colors, images, fonts, logos, messages, etc.

The template selected by default in Your Event Website template is the Passkey booking website template (labeled New Design), which provides many options, such as a wide variety of pre-designed themes and customization options, as well as additional options such as social networking, Attendee Enrollment and other services.

  1. Option 1: The Choose a website from Library section provides a list of all websites available for selection. They are shown in two tabs: My Websites shows all websites available for use from the library. Hotels that are licensees as part of an enterprise agreement will also see an Enterprise Websites option.

  2. Option 2: The Other website customization options section allows you to customize the Sort Order of the event’s room types (Hotel users only) and other services on the event booking website. Click Sort Order to access the dialog box and choose the element to update. Sort order may be changed in one of three ways:

    1. Drag and drop a row from its current position into the desired position on the list.

    2. Click the up and down arrows to move the item.

    3. Manually enter the number for the service or room type’s placement on the list.

Adding Social Networking to an Event

The Event Social Networking feature allows you to associate a social network with an event, which allows event attendees to connect before, during and after the event.

If the event already has a social network on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Facebook, simply enter the network’s URL in the appropriate field. You can also create a new social network on Coolbrix for the event by supplying a name (the default is the event name) and clicking the Create button. Event guests will be able to link to the network from the guest dashboard after booking their hotel rooms.

Click the X to delete a Coolbrix account.

Adding a Mobile Event Website to an Event

The Mobile Event Website feature allows you to create an event website that is easily accessible via a guest’s smart phone.

To create a new mobile event website, click the Create Mobile Event button. By default, the event name will be entered in the text field. This field may be edited if desired. Guests will be able to link to the mobile website or send the link to their phone directly from the guest dashboard after booking their hotel room.

To delete a Mobile Event Website, click the X after the MMM URL.

Note: a separate license with Max Mobile Meetings is required to access this feature.

Adding Other Services to an Event

This feature allows you to add hotel or venue services, such as restaurants, spas, entertainment and other services to the event, so guests can learn about these services while booking their hotel rooms.

Services are added and managed in the Library section of your Passkey account. Any services added to the Library are available for every event. To display a service on an event booking website, check the box for that service.

NOTE: If a hotel is a user of the Nor1 system, it can enable that feature by checking the Nor1 Upsell box which will enable Nor1 features on the booking website for that event.

After making your changes, click Next to save the settings and proceed to the next step. Optionally, use the Save button to save changes at anytime while remaining on the page.
