Hotel or Organization: Libraries: Guarantee Types

Use this page to set up a library of Guarantee Types that can be used in events and bundles. A Guarantee Type is a predefined set of payment and guarantee options that defines how a guest making a reservation can guarantee that reservation. Guarantee Types are associated to Attendee Types. A Guarantee Type is added to an event when an Attendee Type that uses that Guarantee Type is added to an event. This page allows viewing, setting the default, enabling, copying, editing and deleting Guarantee Types.

The table of Guarantee Types includes:

• Default. Determines which Guarantee Type is the default. The default is used by default for all Attendee Types unless that Attendee Type is configured to use a different Attendee Type.  

• Name. The name of the Guarantee Type

• Attendee Types: The Attendee Types that are associated to the Guarantee Type.  Any Attendee Type that is not associated to a Guarantee Type automatically uses the default Guarantee Type.  

• Enabled. Shows whether the Guarantee Type is enabled (ON) or disabled (OFF). Only Enabled Guarantee Types can be associated to Attendee Types.

• .  Click the copy icon to copy this Guarantee Type into a new type. In the pop-up window, enter the name of the Guarantee type then click Copy to go to the ADD GUARANTEE TYPE page.

• . Click the edit icon to edit the type.

• X.  Click the delete icon to delete the type.
