This page allows you set up the rewards programs that are honored by the hotel. You can also set a default program and choose the placement of the rewards program on a page of the Attendee Website.
You may add a program from the available selections. To do so:
Select the click here link.
Select a rewards program from the available list. Note that some settings may be filled in automatically from system defaults, based on your selection.
Click Save to add the program or Cancel to return to the list of programs.
If you wish to make change to the default program settings you may do so for your Hotel. To do so:
Optionally change the GL Code. Note that your ability to change this may be restricted depending on the program selected. This code will be used within an electronic transfer of the reservation between Passkey and a PMS/CRS system.
Optionally add a Logo. The logo will be displayed to the guest along with the program name.
Optionally add Sign Up Text and a Sign Up URL. This allows the guest to see the text and be taken to the link to sign up for the rewards program. This link is only shown to the guest when they have completed their reservation on the attendee website but have not provided a rewards program number.
IMPORTANT: Strongly consider using the default program settings whenever possible. By making customizations for your hotel, you will not receive further updates should the default rewards logo or sign up link change.
NOTE: The sign up process is not integrated into the reservation process. The guest will need to modify their reservation to add the rewards program and number.
Select a program you have already added instead of choosing None, and then select Save. In this case, the program will be pre-selected for guests making reservations on the attendee website, but is always optional to enter, and the guest can proceed without entering a number.
If you do not want a default program then choose the option None. If there are multiple rewards programs then the guest can optionally choose one while making a reservation.
Select the placement of the Rewards Program display on the Guest Information page of the Attendee Website as either Top or Bottom.
Top placement will show the rewards information near the top of the guest checkout page. Bottom placement will show it within the Other Information section toward the bottom of the page. This is the default position.
Click Save to save your settings.
To stop offering a program to guests (e.g. if it has been discontinued), select the red X and confirm to delete it.
NOTE: The rewards program name and number will be retained on existing reservations unless the guest modifies their reservation. In this case the removed program will also be removed from their reservation.
