Use this page to manage SmartAlerts that are available either at the event level or in the Library. A SmartAlert is a notification sent by email.
For events, this page is accessed from Event menu - Communications - SmartAlerts. When creating SmartAlerts in an event, each SmartAlert affects only that event.
For the Library, this page is accessed from Manage menu - Hotel or Organization - Libraries - SmartAlerts. When creating SmartAlerts in the Library, each SmartAlert defined is available when creating or editing Bundles and when creating events without Bundles.

To add a new SmartAlert, click here.
Click the New Alert link to create a new alert. In the popup, select Alert or Update then click Add. Enter the information in the ADD A NEW SmartAlert page.
Click the radio button next to an alert to add from the Library.
To Add a Primary Alert, click here. This is only available for hotels from the Library. Click the link to add a Primary Inventory SmartAlert for the hotel (not a specific event).
Type. There are two types of SmartAlerts. An update is notification sent on a regular schedule. For example, send a daily update on the reservations arriving each day. An alert is a notification based on a set of criteria. For example, automatically send an email when a block night reaches 80% pick-up.
Name. Click the name to preview a sample of the SmartAlert.
Organization. In Libraries, if the alert is published by an Enterprise Account, the name of the Enterprise Account is shown in the Organization column. If the organization's SmartAlert was recently changed, the briefcase icon has an exclamation point (). An organization SmartAlert cannot be edited or deleted in the hotel Library.
Frequency. For Updates, this column shows how often the update is sent.
Enable. You can temporarily disable or re-enable each SmartAlert by clicking on its ON/OFF switch. If you accessed the SmartAlerts page from the event menu, the SmartAlert does not send any emails while off for that event. If you accessed the SmartAlerts page from the Library, the SmartAlert is not shown during create event while off.
. Click the copy icon to create a new SmartAlert using the settings for this SmartAlert. In the pop-up window, enter the name of the SmartAlert then click Copy to go to the COPY page.
. Click the edit icon to edit the SmartAlert.
X. Click the delete icon to delete the SmartAlert.
