The Home tab provides a snapshot of the block and pickup of the event selected. Key dates are also listed as well as a Bulletin Board for posting internal messages for event organizers.
Unconfirmed bookings alert. If an event has reservations that are in an unconfirmed status on the Reservations / Multiple Booking page, an alert will appear above the pie chart. Clicking the alert, takes the user to the Reservations tab on the Reservations / Multiple Booking page.
Submit a room list. This link will bring the user to the appropriate page to drop off a room list for processing. This link will only be seen for events where the organization or hotel has licensed the Room List Manager product.
Pie Chart. Displays the number of rooms sold as a green wedge and rooms available as an orange wedge. Percentages are calculated based on whether original or current block is selected/displayed in the BLOCK section.
BLOCK. Displays the total number of room nights across all associated sub-blocks. Users are able to toggle between original block and current block if the event organizer has provided access to both sets of numbers, otherwise either original or current will be displayed. Additionally, the potential revenue value for these rooms is shown.
BOOKED. Displays the number of room nights booked. Additionally, the revenue from all confirmed reservations is shown.
AVAILABLE. Displays the remaining available room nights. Additionally, the potential revenue value for these rooms is shown.
RESERVATIONS OPEN. The date the event will start to accept reservation activity.
RESERVATIONS CUTOFF. The established cutoff date of the event typically based on the hotel contract.
RESERVATIONS DEADLINE. The date when sub-block requests are due to the event organizer.
EVENT STARTS. The date when the meetings start for the event as designated when the event was built.
Displays the night-by-night pickup for the event. Room inventory that has been picked up or sold is shown as green, the remaining or un-sold inventory is shown in orange.
Use the Filter option to show data specific to a single hotel or multiple hotels and/or room types.
Click & drag your mouse to highlight specific inventory ranges in the smaller graph to change the dates displayed in the larger graph.
Toggle between the Chart and Table options to view the data in different formats.
An area for event organizer to post messages for Event Planners and Sub-block Group Contacts.
To add a new message, select New Message
Select the message recipient(s)
Add the message text using the HTML editor if desired
Select Post. The message will now be seen in the Bulletin Board by the appropriate Event Planners and Sub-block Group Contacts.
Once a new message is posted, the following people are notified via email that a new message is available for viewing: Internal Contact for Planner (as noted on the event Details page), Event Planner(s) (if applicable), all planners in the selected Sub-Block Group (if applicable) and the person who posted the message.
TIP: The first 256 characters of the bulletin board message will appear in the email notification. The recipient may access the full message by clicking the link to the dashboard which is also provided in the email.
