There are four types of hotel tasks within Passkey:
Hotel and block setup
Hotel information maintenance
Hotel inventory management
Hotel placement on event map
Passkey hotel setup and inventory management tools automate the complex relationships among reservations, pickup, and housing data. The critical services offered by this automation include quick access to:
Hotel information: view, add, modify, or delete hotels.
Block information: room blocks can be added, modified or deleted from a hotel, as needed.
Inventory allocation information: room information (e.g., allocations, costs, availability, etc.) can be setup on a night-by-night basis.
Reporting capabilities: numerous Passkey reports can be run to keep up-to-date on changing pickup and inventory availability.
The Hotel pages are accessible from either of the following, although you may not see both options depending on your permissions.
Select the Manage tab on any page then select Hotel Setup.
From within an event, select the Advanced Options menu. In the Hotels tab, click on the hotel you would like to edit then click on the hotel name on the right hand menu.
IMPORTANT: Profiles belonging to hotels that fully license Passkey may be edited by the hotel only. Hotel profiles belonging to unlicensed hotels may be edited by other licensed organizers.
