Use this page to manage Attendee Types for this event.
Attendee Type. Lists the Attendee Types. Click an Attendee Type link to edit its settings. To add an Attendee Type, click the link provided above the table.
Access Code. Lists the access code, if any. If the code is a link, you can edit the code. The access code must be 1-20 characters and unique within the event.
NOTE: Although not normally used, there can be more than one code per Attendee Type. An example of using an additional code is when an incorrect access code is given out to attendees to use online. In this case, create a second access code to add the incorrect code as well as the correct code so that both work. To add a code, click the plus sign icon.
Access Code Required? If Yes, the attendee must enter a code when making a reservation.
Res. per Session. The number of reservations that can be made in a single session. To change this, click the Attendee Type name.
When guests enter the number of rooms they want to reserve (up to the setting you enter) on the Attendee Website, they can book all the rooms at the same time, enter all of the contact information, etc., and then receive all of the acknowledgement numbers at the end of the process on a single confirmation page.
Assigned Payment Plan. Click the payment plan link to change the payment plan and whether or not a guest guarantee is required.
Guarantee Required? If Yes, the guest needs to provide a credit card to complete the reservation. This can be changed in the payment plan.
Guaranteed Blocks? If Yes, unsold guaranteed rooms are included in the Pickup total, as shown by clicking the Legacy Inventory submenu; otherwise, unsold rooms are not included. Also, this line will only show inventory when the Attendee Type is marked as guaranteed AND when inventory is allocated directly to the sub-block. If a type is marked as guaranteed but is using free-sell, no rooms will show in the guaranteed row. To change the setting, click the Attendee Type name.
Roll-up on Reports? If Yes, the guaranteed blocks are rolled into a single line instead of having individual lines for each Attendee Type in the reports. To change the setting, click the Attendee Type name.
Configurable on attendee website. If Yes, allows the attendee website to be configured specifically for this attendee type.
X. Click this icon to remove an Attendee Type from the event. Note that Attendee Types with assigned inventory cannot be removed. Also, the Attendee Type cannot be removed if a reservation transaction has occurred, even if the reservation is cancelled and inventory is completely removed.
